Three Cycle Return Policy Trial

We are offering this policy to help you out with making your switch from disposables to reusables easier during this time of uncertainty both socially and economically (and because we love our Wā Cup so much and are confident you will too!).

Our Three Cycle Swap and Return Policy with money-back guarantee means you can get a refund out of goodwill, or a size swap on our “Wā Cup” (menstrual cup) if returned within the time frames stipulated below. You may exchange your used Wā Cup if you ordered the wrong size (subject to availability) or ask for a refund on your used Wā Cup in accordance with the conditions below and your legal rights will not be affected. This includes Wā Cup purchases made through our retail partners throughout Aotearoa NZ and online on our website.

1. Give your Wā Cup a 'fair go': 

This means you must return your used Wā Cup to Wā Collective HQ after giving it a fair go - ie - for three cycles in the case of wanting a refund or size change. This is because it can take 1 - 3 periods to get used to a menstrual cup and we don't want to cut your invitation to better period-ing short or waste unnecessary resources both for the environment or the sustainability of us as a social enterprise.

2. Return any Wā Cup after three cycles, within 90 - 120 days from purchase

If you find you are unhappy with your purchase, simply return your used Wā Cup after 90 days but within 120 days of purchase from our online store or any of our retail partners along with the return form (found below).

You only have to pay the cost of returning the Wā Cup to us and we will refund you the cost of the Wā Cup.

You are responsible for any returned Wā Cups until they reach us.

Please retain proof of your postage of any returned Wā Cup Product for your records as this may be required for confirmation.

For hygiene reasons please clean any used Wā Cup prior to its return in accordance with the user guide. We are developing a circular system where all cups will be re-purposed, meaning any Wā Cups returned to us will be transformed in an environmentally safe and hygienic way.

This trial is valid for sales between 1st May- 31st August 2020 only
We are trailing this for four months. Our Three Cycle Policy is valid for sales from 1st May 2020 until August 1st, or as long as Wā Collective sees fit.

This website,, is operated by Wā Collective Limited.  These terms and conditions form a legal contract between you and Wā Collective. By accessing and using this website, and when making a purchase from this website you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions without any limitation or qualification.
You should read these terms and conditions in conjunction with our Privacy policy and Returns policy.

These Terms and Conditions together with your order constitute the entire contract between Wā Collective and you for the supply of products you have ordered.  No other Terms and Conditions will apply. The Contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing.

Wā Collective Limited does it's utmost best to ensure your safety in using our products. We do this through the free information booklet that comes with every Wā Cup sold, and through accompanying materials on our website, emails and social media. However, once you use any of our products, your health is your responsibility and Wā Collective is not liable for any health issues or instances potentially relating or relating to the use of any of our products. 


Subsidised Wā Cups

Subsidised Wā Cups distributed through students' associations will be held for a month before they will be donated to someone in need if not collected by the buyer. 

All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars (NZD)
Payment for all purchases made online will be charged in NZD.


Price changes
We reserve the right to increase our prices or to introduce new prices for our products and services at any time.
